History: The Ancient Enemy earns its name from how it has been a thorn in humanity's side for centuries. Every now and then, this bacterial mass rises to wipe entire civilizations off the map, including but not limited to the ancient Mayans. Now, it has set its sights on a small Colorado town, whisking away almost the entire community, and replacing it with soulless people puppets that it uses to act out some of its desires before eating them again. Now, after so many years of existence, it has come to pride itself as a God, and wants everyone in the world to know of its existence.

Final Fate: Eventually, the Ancient Enemy is pumped with so much lethal bacteria that it seemingly dies, even after putting up a good deception. That said, it did get its wish of being recognized by the world, and there are strong hints that its phantoms are still out there...
Powers/Abilities: The Ancient Enemy can shapeshift, mutate animal life, and control those it kills. It is also nigh-invulnerable.
Weakness: Because its body is so similar to crude oil, it can be harmed by bacteria that eats fossil fuels. Also, it is extremely arrogant, and can be angered easily.
Scariness Factor: 4-This is an amoeba-like beast that's so intelligent, it wants you to bow down to it. And when it can summon an undead army, sic mutated beasts on you, and shrug off gunfire, it's not hard to see why. That said, the moment everyone figured out its weakness, the fight got a little easier.
Trivia: -The book this film was based on borrowed a lot of the themes found in the works of H.P. Lovecraft, though the film did away with all of this.
-Amazingly, this film is yet another that contributed to the inspiration for the Silent Hill franchise, along with "Jacob's Ladder" and "Session 9".
